2001

The year is 2001. The parts market takes place offline and is entirely dominated by authorised workshops and a few wholesalers. Well, not entirely … In November, Thorsten Hainke launches the online shop kfzteile24-de on ebay. Thus, the foundation for today's company is laid.

2002

The plan is working – and how. Demand grows rapidly, and so does the company. Matthias Kieper and René Steinert join the team, and soon there are separate departments for purchasing and accounting. The result: our product range keeps growing and growing …

2005

The time has come: kfzteile24 GmbH is born. Still a young company, we already supply workshops and automotive professionals all over Germany.

2006

We have taken the online world by storm – now we are expanding offline. Our first branch with a dedicated shop opens in Berlin-Weißensee. It won't be our last …

2007

We launch our first website: With kfzteile24-shop.de, we stand on our own two feet from now on. But we' re still going strong on ebay, too: As the biggest power seller on ebay Motors and thanks to over 260,000 positive reviews, we are immortalised on the ebay Walk of Stars.

2008

The market is growing – and so are the demands for quick and easy delivery. So from 2008 onwards, we're taking the shipment of our products into our own hands. Parcels are shipped from our logistics center in Berlin-Mahlsdorf. Customers who want their items even faster can also pick them up themselves at the affiliated branch.

2009

We enter into one of our longest and proudest partnerships by becoming the official shirt sponsor of 1. FC Union Berlin. Over the years, we have also flirted with other clubs (our logo has featured in stadiums of all three major German football leagues at one point). But nothing beats first love. We have remained a loyal partner to the "Eisernen" to this day.

20091

2010

With the opening of our first car workshop in 2010, kfzteile24 changes forever. From now on, we not only sell spare parts – we are also able to install them ourselves. This end-to-end approach has been an integral part of our company's philosophy ever since.

2011

"From Neuseddin into the big wide world": That's the journey our parts have been going on since 2011. That year, our new logistics centre in the small town southwest of Berlin begins operation. With an area of more than 330,000 sqm, it's the biggest of its kind in Germany. Thanks to state-of-the-art storage technology and proximity to the motorway, we can send parcels from here to anywhere in Germany within 24 hours.

2012

Our logo appears on a racing car for the first time – because from 2012 we become the main sponsor of MS Racing, a racing team competing in the ADAC GT Masters. In our very first year as partners, the team wins both the drivers' and the teams championship. Coincidence? We think not … In the following years, we continue to be involved in motorsport – be it as a sponsor and partner of Mücke Motorsport or as a series sponsor of Formula 3 and DTM.

2014

Our new returns department begins operation in Neuseddin. It processes returns (almost) faster than its shadow.In Berlin, meanwhile, our third branch in Spandau opens its doors. This time, it comes with a workshop directly attached.

2015

In 14 years, we went from being an ebay seller to leading the German car parts market. That did not go unnoticed outside of Germany either. At the end of 2015, international investment group EQT joined us as a strategic partner. The goal: expanding our online presence and opening up new markets.

2016

Servus Austria! We launch our own platform in the country of mountains and lakes. And online's the name of the game in other respects, too: We expand our IT and marketing departments significantly, while also offering our parts on Amazon for the first time.

2018

Goedemiddag, Nederland! After successfully launching kfzteile24.at, we continue our European expansion: in 2018, we introduce our new brand Carpardoo in the Netherlands.

2019

The journey continues: after launching Carpardoo in the Netherlands, shops in France, Poland and Denmark follow in quick succession. As our family of brands grows, so does our team. We now employ more than 550 experts from over 30 countries.

2020

Onwards and appwards! kfzteile24 is now also available for iOS and Android devices. Our pocket-sized spare parts store holds more than 2.5 million parts. We're also welcoming a new management: Since 2020, Markus Winter and Bernd Humke have served as our CEO and CFO, respectively.

2021

We are expanding: Our product range. Our return policy. And our logistics. From 2021 onwards, we ship our parts on the same day they are ordered, while also offering a 365 day return policy. Additionally, our delivery service for workshops and b2b customers now operates more times a day.

2022

For some time now, we have been supplying our parts directly to workshops and businesses - complete with a separate online shop, special prices and our own fleet of vehicles. In November 2022, this division got its own brand name: from now on, our direct delivery and our services for the automotive industry are united under the name businessplus.

2023

In June 2023, we treated ourselves to a makeover. Since then, our online shop, our Weissensee branch in Berlin and our corporate clothing have been shining in a new design and new colours. December also saw a new addition to our management team: Just Beyer joined us as CCO.
